Is the entertainment center the same as what the Solera 24R would be? We are waiting on ours from factory and never did see the entertainment center we would get.

Like this floorplan very much. It was hard to decide between this one and the 24R!

the 24S floorpan is very roomy with the slide all the way out, yet still very functional when the slide is all the way in.

one trick I use for a quick noon food & rest stop is to run the slide out only about 3"-4" inches. Takes much less time and leaves plenty of get-around room.

one of the first mods was removing the bath door, making the bath area much more utilitarian. The privacy curtain in front of the bed closes the rear off quite cleanly when I have guests.

Mr. Clemens
I have a new Forester 2401R ordered and have a question on the couch vs the dinette. Does the couch fold into a bed? If not, Coachmen has a couch with recliners. Can this be substituted in the Forester?
Thanks
Tim

The couch is a jackknife and folds down into a bed. We do offer recliners as an option.

Skylight?

Is that a skylight over the dinette?
That is cool. Is it a clear plastic and is there an integrated cover?

Mr. Clemens,
How do I request the recliner option? My dealer, Camping World of Kaysville, UT said he talked to his factory rep and they said the recliner was not compatible and therefore not an option! Oh, one other thing. I asked to have the 42" TV upgraded to a smart TV. Is that a possibility?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

It wasn't an option. We just got the testing back and it won't available until orders starting late March. If your last name is Miller, your unit is offline next week and heading to paint.

As for the SMART TV, that is not an option. We use one type of TV and can;t sub for one offs. I will say, a USB stick can turn any TV into a smart TV.

My last name is Miller!! That is good news. I was told that it would be mid March before it would arrive in Kaysville. Sounds like it may be a little early huh! Ok so the tv cannot be changed out. That is ok. I will use your USB suggestion. I would assume that the TV has a portal for USB. You said the couch folds into a bed so we are good to go!
Thanks again for all the help and info.

It will still take a couple of weeks to get the paint done, tested and diamond shield applied. "Should" be in Kaysville in Feb barring any problems.

I'm 90% sure there is a USB portal. There used to be. We get a new version about every year due to updates by the supplier.

Mr. Clemens,
Any chance you could give me an update on where in the cycle my Forester is now? Coming to Kaysville, UT. Thanks for anything you can provide.

Looks like it is offline and at the paint shop. Should ship out this month.

Sorry to somewhat hijack this thread, but the USB port on Jensen 12v TVs will only allow for display of photos, and maybe MP3 songs (don't recall for sure right now). However one of those Google/Roku/Amazon HDMI sticks should work OK.

Mr Clemens,
I am taking delivery tomorrow! Quick question. On my order it says that with full body paint you receive Front End Paint Protector! Does that mean on the front of the vehicle. I.e. The front of the Mercedes, including the fenders, bumpers and headlights?
Thanks
Tim

Not unless the headlights are painted.

There will be diamond shield on front nose, front cap and wing walls.

Headlights and bumper remain unpainted.

Thanks for your quick reply. I was hoping that this was like a clear bra for the entire front of the vehicle. Guess I will spring for that on my own!
Thanks again
