Front clearance lights
I noticed yesterday that one of the lens on the front of my Solera was missing. I started checking around for a replacement but the type of light used here is not a normal light and is not that easy to find. I have the local dealer checking with FR about it at this time but have to wonder why this is so hard to find. The lights are Gol-Brite 122Y from FMC beginning to wonder if FMC makes these any more or what going on? Any one else had problems with this issue? I did see some previous postings on this problem with Georgetowns and some other FR units.

One of mine fell off too , when the dealer couldn't find I called forest river and they sent me some along with the latches that hold the door closed, which I replaced myself

How long ago was that? I've been checking every where and can not find them. Seen here on the forum in January that the glo-brite company went out of business and the lens are no longer available. I've decided to replace them with Eptronics LED button lights. Will let you know how it turns out.

Thanks, but they don't have the yellow lens which is what I need. Everything I'm hearing is that this light and lens has been discontinued. Even the local dealers can't get them.

Well about 3 hours worth of work and the new clearance lights are installed and looking good. The lights are Optronics MCL11 with double led's in each light.

Thought I'd add one more picture of the lights at dusk.

When I first got my 2014 Solera I was resealing the clearance lights to prevent water intrusion. I saw that the lens were only snapped on an did not seem that secure to me. I applied a small amount of sealant to each cover to help hold them in place. I recommend that anyone with the same original lights do the same. Will save you a big hassle trying to replace them. As hkerk mentioned, they are no longer available. Looks like Glo-brite has gone out of business.

Glo-Brite 122y Marker Light Lens
Maybe Josh Cavitt could post here a good supply point for these lens. Looks like the company "Globe Specialty Company 733.778.3300 is out of business??? Called this number & their 800-the-lamp numbers and they are no longer a working number....
Only need one lens cover - hate to have to replace all 5 light's for one cover....

I'm guessing, but I hope you didn't throw the 122Y's away??? I know it's been a while since you did this upgrade, but if you still have them, or one, I'd be willing to buy it from you!
Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail
