Handy to have.

Once went in to register at an RV park and had forgotten to get my license plate info. Of course walked back out to the RV and got the info. So I figured there must be a better way.

Same for my vin when I go looking for parts.

With the camera on my phone I have taken photos of all of the tags, vin numbers and anything else I deem may come in handy . I always have the phone so the info. is with me. That's just me.

Do the same here. For us young farts whose phone is also their point and shoot camera and we literally have thousands of pictures on it- one trick is to use the "favorites" feature to flag the license plate as a favorite or simply add a "Camping Helpers" folder.

I did the same thing for our bungee artwork when we would secure things in the bunkhouse so that we did it the same every time.

I put my truck name in my phone as a "contact" and the license plate number as the phone number. Very easy to find.
