Question How to remove glass from side mirror

We have received our side mirrors and want to install them on the mirror. We can not figure out how to remove the glass. We googled it and found a video showing to push the bottom of the mirror in and grabbing the top of mirror and pulling up. So far this is not working. Need your help.

Thanks

OK, our mirrors do not come off like the video. But we did get them off. We have the side camera mounted to the left mirror. Eating lunch then will put the camera on the right side. LOTS of work. Thanks for the replies.

The bottom mirror you just pull straight off. The top mirror has 4 clips. Push the bottom of the mirror all the way in and you will see 2 clips on top. Use a piece of hooked wire and unclip them the mirror will then fall towards you. Ta Da !!!! They are off.

The right side camera in now installed. It went much faster after we learned from the left side how and what to take apart. Now all we have to do is connect them to the turn signals.

Do you have photos of those cameras installed. Sounds like a nice concept.

You can upload the photos from your computer to the forum and attach them to you post. When you submit a reply, scroll down on the page and you will see where you can create an attachment and the type of file ext that can be used.

Or, if you have a link to where you acquired the cameras you can directly paste it in you reply.
