Issue with transmission going into neautral while in gear and driving?

Hi
We have a 2013 Solera 24S on a Sprinter Chassis - we have had it since last August and have done 2 major road trips without any complications.
This year though, we will be driving along and all of a sudden the transmission goes like it is in neural even though it is still in gear and we are traveling at highway speed. On the dash 3 lights come on - all to do with ABS. We find a safe place to pull over immediately, shut off the rv and restart - this gets us going again. This has happened twice in the last 3 trips.

Has anyone experienced this before?
The RV/Sprinter book doesn't have this as one of the trouble shooting problems.
We are waiting for a hook up to a Sprinter computer, but it is usually not any good unless the problem is happening at that instant.
Would love some input if there are others out there who have experienced this.
Cheers

Look through the Solera posts a while back. If memory serves me, it was a wheel sensor failure. But can't say for sure. Definately a warranty issue with your MB dealer.

You might find more here Sprinter - Sprinter-Forum

I vote wheel sensor(s) which tie to the ABS indicator light displayed. Try taking a picture of your dash warning lights in the instant. Show the MB service tech. Reason with him, that the main computer must be getting faulty imputs form the sensor to trigger the transmission to slip into neutral. Just sayin' Keep us in the loop.

[QUOTE=janisinbc;950831]Hi

Actually the onboard computer will usually store any code that causes warning light to come on.
