Kumho tire failure at 26500 miles

Anyone else have Road Venture AT tire delamination ? I just lost the last 4 original tires.
I replaced two a few months ago when the side walls fell, apart.
Now I'm on a road trip and in the first hundred miles of this trip I had to replace two front tires due to heavy shaking which Aericas tires found both with big bobbles inside the tires after replacement I get back on the road and in Colorado I now have to replace all the rears and one did POP leaving tire everywhere (thank you AAA) there are a lot of recalls but so far none for this tire ?

If you are running Kumho Road Venture AT tires BEWARE !

Yes, it does seem odd not to change them all when you have a structural tire failure. It would be different if you could track the failure to a nail or something.

Once a tire from a batch fails, heed the warning, IMO.
Too much is riding on those tires.

In another vein, 26,500 miles is awesome for a trailer tire. How old were they?

ANY tire over 8 years old is due for replacement regardless of miles or tread depth. This tire was made in the 24th week of 2010.

Theses are Solera tires on my 2010!Solera Load range E 2009 tires I've had it since new - 2.5 years with 27000 miles.
Tires should never delaminate. .
The first two had the side wall issue Kumho admitted to in a recall but I didn't know at the time, There are MANY recalls for the Road Venture AT from Kumho.... I'm just telling Solera owners because they came as factory on mine.

Sorry, this is not the first time I missed the forum the post was in. I would LOVE to say it won't happen again, but it might.

"How to read your tires" is still good info though. I have lots more tire information pamphlets on how to care for them. If you do not use your motor home very often, the same logic on trailer tires also applies. If you do not get them up to speed and warm enough to flex the internal rubber lubricants to the surface (at least once a month), your tires will "age out" before they "wear out."

I checked the line and they're all Continental. I don't ever remember Kuhmo...but I never really paid attention when we were using the "Freightliner" badged chassis. We did that for a couple of years before we switched dealers and went to Mercedes badged.
