Light fixtures

I need to change a light in my Solera S. It is an inside fixture over the kitchen sink. I don't want to break it. Does it just pop off?

First, not sure what year your "S" Solera is, but if they are glass flush mounted triple light fixtures, the glass turns counter clockwise maybe an inch to release it from the metal housing. You probably are expierencing the glass and metal base turning together. You need to hold the metal base, either by pressure up against the underside of the cabinet or holding the metal base while turning the glass. It's not easy.

Thanks so much for your help. I got it off and changed light. I just didn't want to break it. Thanks again.
