Agree with Sandiegodoug the full body paint looks great! A major selling point for us too. I hate seeing rigs with faded vinyl.

After 2 years in the San Diego sun the solera still looks brand new
My previous trailer started to look old after a year, decals falling off, white fiberglass looking dull

Mine does not have the full body paint; it is white gel coat. It is one year old this month and looks like it just came off the line. I keep it washed and waxed and it looks great. The decals are like new. Hope it continues looking good. I like the ful body paint, but white is also nice.

X2 Mikegjax, We've had ours for 3 summers now and it still looks great. Vinyl decals are better than they use to be. I've done vinyl work and todays vinyl will stand up for 6-10 years or better and you can have it removed and replaced if it starts look too bad.

Agree with all of the comments offered!
We bought our pre-owned 2010 S in March of this year after having done a whole lot of looking around at the various Sprinter-based RVs and we could not be happier with our choice.

Since we are only two traveling, outside storage our primary concern.

The large storage bay in the rear corner of the S is what sold us - we can fit large items - grill, folding table extra propane tank for grill, folding chairs etc and have room left for other items if needed.

The Winnie's are great units - not as much storage for bulkier items and the extra cost is what made the Solera our choice.

No matter what your final decision is, don't delay getting into an RV - we enjoy it so much and looking forward to retirement when we will have even more time to see the USA!
