Murphy bed motor question

I have a 2012 24M. The motor on the murphy bed seems to really strain as the bed lifts and comes forward and begins to lay itself down upon the seats. Im wondering if this is normal. No difference on street power or with generator. No problem when the bed becomes unweighted or when it stows. Will go out of warranty in Feb. I have had issues with the motor home but have found resolution through various dealerships and FR interaction. Have others noticed this or is this normal?? Look forward to responses. Merry Christmas.

i don't knowthe answer but perhaps with any motor less strain is better.

since it usually will only be done only twice in 24 hour period maybe always helping by taking a little weight off it is best

We have the Murphy bed also. It does sound like it's straining when it raises and lowers but I think that's just the odd angle it has to do. We are snow birding in ours full time for the winter so we are keeping our fingers crossed!
