Musty smell when air conditioner running

We bought our 2011 Solera new in October 2010 and up until now had no reason to run the air conditioner. It has a "musty" smell. I know that things such as mold and mildew are the main culprits towards creating odors but the air conditioning unit has less than 24 hours of run time. Does anyone else besides us have this problem and if so what did you do to resolve it?

The AC is a Dometic either 13,500 or 15,000 BTU...lost paperwork...

not in the rv but parents van had that problem. when they took it to the cleaners they just blasted hot steam down the dash vents and hit the fan, blast hit fan etc until that smell was gone. probably from moisture not getting drained away when it was used.

Musty smell when air conditioner running

I am referring to the roof air conditioner in the living quarters of the mh.
Sorry if my statement of the problem was not clear....
