Thank you!
Probably would have added stabilizers if we had ordered ours instead of purchasing it right off the lot. We are, however, adding a sway bar...waiting for it to arrive from Hellwig.
Have a great day!

We hope to get a walk through video of every floor plan. Weather is not all that helpful this time of year, but as things clean up we'll start pushing those out a little faster.

Very nice, we are just ready to pull the trigger. How long from order to delivery? Can we have in-motion satellite installed by factory? Is there any advantage over the Forester vs. the Sunseeker?
We are so excited and glad to be downsizing from our class A, at least I am; not sure about the DW.

1. lead time depends on time of year. May gets a little hairy, so it could be 8-14 weeks for new orders.
2. We pre-wire for Sat. We no longer offer the option because there are too many possible choices.
3. This is listed in multiple locations, I will post here in case someone stumbles along. (FR vs SS)

How can you tell if your unit is pre wired for Satellite? We have a 2015 24R mfg in 2/14

They are ALL pre-wired for Satellite.
having said that, they are pre-wired for Satellite using the outside park cable. You will have a small jumper plate on the inside (This is a small wall plate with a coax cable coming out going right back into the plate)
Since then we have started pre-wiring for roof sat as well. If you have that, you will have a plate with THREE (3) coax connections. The center one is the one that goes to the roof.

So awesome! We just ordered a Sunseeker 2400W and were wondering about the space with slide in so we could have room for the dog kennel.

BClemons,
Are the Bigfoots in front of or behind the axle on this model?
I am aware they are behind the axle on the other models and pose a clearance issue for me.
Thanks

They are behind, but we're working on a new mounting location that allows them to be installed JUST behind. Takes them completely out of the departure angle. Should go live this week.

Thanks.
If they erase the clearance issues (I do a lot of desert camping) then I will put them on the order list.
Possible photo of the new location when completed?

Just received my 24S last month and love it! It has the couch option.
Couple of comments about the W....
1. It would be nice if a couch option were available. I've had a MH with the U-shaped dinette in the past and it was a pain. The back is straight up, making TV viewing without a cushion or pillow very uncomfortable. The corners become wasted space. And, finally, the area next to the window is impossible to manuver into with the table in place.
2. If you will notice in the video, the sewage pipe exits near the left rear bumper. It's in a place that could easily be dragged off during entry or exit into a steep driveway or pavement transition. I had a pull behind Nomad with a rear bath that had this same setup....it was a nightmare! Had to have skid plates designed and installed to protect the pipe.
I realize that that location is also a tricky design problem since all utilities must exit near the left rear of any RV and sewer pipes must drain. And, the slide mechanism is located in that same area.
Suggest to FR design engineers...to get the proper drainage for the pipe, raise the floor in the bathroom, (similar to my S), and place the pipe in a compartment at the back-rear of the MH.
Otherwise, beside lack of larger storage areas, a nice looking design.

We've been running that same design on the 2250 for about 2 years now with no issues.

Thank you, Mr. Clemens, for you quick response!
I found only the 2251SLE on the FR website. I assume it replaced the 2250. Regardless, the 2251, like the Solera W has a full driver's side slide and bath on the street side. And, that the 2251 is on a Ford/Chevy chassis with different size dynamics that the same design on the MB.
The distance from the rear axle AND the height are major factors in whether or not the sewage pipe is vulnerable during steep driveway/pavement entries and exits. My only observation was the APPARENT location of the pipe in the video you shot for the Solera W.
To be sure, I did a copious amount of research before purchasing my new FR Solera 24S. I considered the W. Primarily decided on the S because of storage..both in and out.
Let me be clear...
There is no MB based Class C that even comes close in value! Look no further!
This is my 5th MH and have been known to over-analyze each purchase....Sorry!
Thank you Mr. Clemens for your honest and open dialogue and quick responses on this forum with just us common folk! Keep up the good work.
Maybe I'll get to meet you at the FMCA, Goshen, IN rally in June.

New order delivery time on W
If I order this week when can I expect delivery - end of May?? Also were you successful in relocating the stabilizer jacks?

End of May is not likely. Right now we're looking June-July for new orders.
