New floor plan teaser.

Someone asked me for a picture of how we do our return air.

Instead of a grill that leads directly to the furnace (and is noisy), we put a gap at the floor and mount the furnace on a platform. This way the airs goes down to the floor and then UP into that return air chase. Makes for a quieter furnace and no ugly metal grate to rattle.

Well in snapping that picture, I realized I was in our new prototype floor plan on a Sprinter. So here is the one lone picture you get until we unveil it at our wholesales show, first week in December.

Speculate away.

Slide room was not put in yet...so it really was. Maybe I'll just cover that side in plexiglass. Great view....outside and inside.

I like it. If the bath floor looks to stay as flat as it seems, the extra headroom in the shower would be appreciated!

I know you need to put the fresh water tank somewhere, but if the bed were a convertible couch with the tv on the bathroom wall!

It is in fact a convertible bed. You can sleep on it and watch TV. And you can sit on it and watch TV.

I think it will work just like my bed from home too. My wife lays it on and watches TV, while I try and sleep with the pillow over my head, then she falls asleep so then I turn the TV off, then I fall asleep. We're still working on a price for that feature. stay tuned.

let your mind wander ... but my guess:

24S plan with bath area moved into room suggested by picture

24R bed slide out, but on driver side like wardrobe/dinette slide out

but just to be clear, I got a 2014 24S in August and am perfectly happy with it, I'll be using it for a long time!

Are we close with our idea of what it is?
