New one on the road

Saw a brand new Solera with dealer plates going through Council Bluffs Iowa at noon today. So someone is getting their RV delivered.

Some lucky people will be getting 'the call' from their dealer soon .

Typical day in our parking lot. We're doing our best to get them out there as fast as we can. Of course we never hear from the ones that get them on time or early. They're busy packing.

Saw another new Solera going through town today, this one looked a lot like the one pictured above from Brian. Couldn't tell if this one was in transit or not. This makes the forth one I've seen this year so far.

X2.
Have you noticed that when you're in a campground (or a Walmart, or a Fuel stop, or a Parking Lot, or a Grocery store, etc., etc., etc....), strangers come by and want to take a look?

I've had lots of people walk up to us while we are shopping at WalMart. They all love it and have lots of question.

Almost every time we camp someone wants to see the inside. They are kinda rare out here in the west. My wife gets embarrassed if its messy inside. Many are surprised how big it feels inside for such a small rv

I haven't had anyone ask to look inside, but I have seen people taking a hard look at it outside.

I've seen four in Oregon, all driving. Saw one last week at Lolo Pass in MT, parked so I could ask how they liked if. It was a rental from Portland, so now wondering if all the ones I saw here are rentals....or even the same rental! Hmmmm...

Interesting! that the rental companies would be putting Soleras on the road - I'm sure they can purchase small Class C's for a whole lot less money. Wonder if they consider the MB chassis to require less maintenance, or be more durable, or what?

I've yet to see another Solera on the road - I've seen a couple Winnebago Views and one Prism. However, I do know my dealer has sold several!

I have one dealer that does Solera's as a rental. He likes the chassis. It's not really what you can buy one for, but what you can sell one for.

There is very good demand for used Solera's. So he typically never has an issuing selling one after he's done renting it.

We’ve had our used unit out on three weekends since getting it May 31st. Have had more than one to ask and look inside on each outing, even handed out spec. that I printed out from FR. I’m not a salesperson but I think I could sell the Solera’s.

I've seen numerous Solera's on the road around Oklahoma City, and when we're out running around. Always want to stop and talk to them but never have yet!

We were in Sitka Alaska last year and even saw one there.Wish we had been in our Solera then!!!

Just traveling through Iowa going to Michigan. Saw another Solera heading east. This is the first Solera I have seen on road. Don't know if they saw us, but it was a neat feeling seeing the other Solera.

It is neat to see another Solera on the road, you really want to find out if it's being transported some where or is owned?

I have seen at least three Solera's in and around Denali Park so far this summer! One towing a small Suzuki jeep

There are good looking rigs!

We just took a 6000 mile trip through the Northwest and were surprised that we only saw one Solera during the entire trip. We saw lots of Views and Navions (we drive a 2008 View but are seriously considering changing to the Solera after the first of the year). Kept looking for Soleras and hoping to meet up with someone in one of the RV parks we stayed in - wanted to ask how they liked it - but no such luck.
