Commercial resale of a vehicle, that a known or should have known, ends up lining the pockets of slip and fall lawyers, if a loss occurs. Therefore, no dealer wants to hold your vehicle in their inventory that can't be sold. Just too darn expensive to wait on air bag parts.

Thanks to this thread I found that my recently purchased 2014 24R is subject to the air bag recall. I am surprised and disappointed that the dealer (Camping World Burlington WA.) could/would sell a vehicle with an active safety recall. I love the RV but now every time we drive it I have visions of exploding air bags in my mind...

My Solera is a 2014R, and I got the recall letter. I also pull a 2011 CR-V. The Honda will get its new airbags on Monday, but until I get my Sprinter repaired, I will be wearing a pair of safety glasses like I wear when I work with power tools. I'd can risk getting hit in the face but not in the eye if the air bag goes off. However, I don't plan to change my vacation/camping plans.
