Oil Change

We are approaching our first oil change. What brand of oil should be used and is there other places other than MB where you can get the change?

Hans, Thanks for the tip. I'm going to get some from them too. You should get a referral bonus.

Could not find an oil filter on their list of free ones for my rig. Got this message:

We couldn't find any results for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 in this category.
See all products that do fit the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500.

Guess I could get FREE oil filters from them that fit my other vehicles and just purchase one for the Sprinter somewhere else.

Try cross referencing it with a 2013 and 2014 from another site based on the mfg. choices there offering you. Then, if they match, order the 2013.

I got 12 QTs of Mobile 1 formula M 5W40 from Napa yesterday for $71.88 they have oil on discount this month, check their web page. I had to order on the web but the local dealer had it sent into them by noon and they honored the web offer.
