"One Wimpy Horn"

I went to blow my horn on my 2013 Solera (which I rarely do) and could not believe what I heard-"One Wimpy Horn." Has anyone replaced their horn so it maybe a little more "Pronounced/Louder?" Appreciate any feedback-Thanks.

You can pick from several types at Pep Boys or Auto Zone.
NAPA is good as well.

Happy Horn for the truck

You have to be very carful when changing horns in a Sprinter. The sprinter horn is on a 15 amp circuit, some horns need 20 amps. Also the sprinter computer just might shut you down if it detects a higher amp draw. Blow your horn and go in to limp mode would not be much fun.

CaptDan I know what you mean about that horn, You'd think a vehicle that size would at least have a duel horn system making it a little louder. I'd like to get a horn that sound the Empire theme from Star Wars.

Couple suggestions for louder horn..... find yourself a 2000 or so buick park avenue. Impressivly loud. Also, I have a 6 volt horn hooked to 12 volts. Also impressivly loud. Those 2 horns on my old cars have brought more grins to my kids faces than any other part of the car. Well, maybe the exception would have been my 35 chevy with suicide doors.

I was kind of SHOCKED on my first try of blowing the horn on my 2013 Solera, in fact-I thought it had shorted out and pressed on my steering wheel a few times to "NO AVAIL." The car I was blowing my horn @ didn't even hear it. I am adding this to the many other "Mods" to be done on my Solera. Thanks for the "Feedback!"
