Roger says 10:30 AM, so that's when we'll be there.

We love our W! So far we've only had minor issues. As I posted before, the grey tank valve was broken when we received it. Never figured out who broke it. But I think because the handle is so far from the valve, it is harder to pull and easier to break. When you tour the factory, perhaps ask about this issue, and certainly test it with some water in the tank. Good luck and congrats!

Solera 24R Order and Delivery

Hi, We ordered a Solera 24 R on 4/10/2015 from Anthem RV and Boat Center in New River, AZ 85087 and were told it would be delivered in July 2015 (maybe as early as before the 4th of July) Our paperwork does not have any Order/VIN number. We were told it would be a 2016 since the only Solera they had was not a 24 without the front bunk option. Is there any way to know where it might be in your assembly process and whether July is a possible delivery? Also is it trucked or driven to the dealer. Thanks. Pete Junger, Prescott, AZ. Thanks.

All motorhomes are driven out by a transportation company. As for the dates, they do have units coming offline in that timeframe, but they just say "retail" there was no name attached to them. I would check back with the dealer in another week, by then they should have a confirmation with VIN and an offline date.

I believe my order will be for a Model year 2016. Can you tell me if there are any new 2016 Solera 24R options that would still be available for my Order.

Also does FR offer an automatic coach leveling system for the Solera 24 R? there seems to be manual(s) in the FR online manuals for online systems e.g., Lippert and Quadra Bigfoot.

Thanks!

Only new option was the safety net which can be done afteras well.

We do not offer an automatic leveling system for Sprinters, only Ford and Chevy. Sprinters do not have room in the cab area, unless you weld (which we are not allowed to do per mercedes) so you can only get a 2 point stabilizer system.

Information about Solera Assembly Process

I have been reading a lot of posts regarding the order and build process. Like many, my Dealer has been less than helpful. I found a couple of posts concerning "Build Sheet" which I have not seen/don't know if I should have one and "Second year warranty" through Forest River. Many posts also said they received an offline date factory "Confirmation" with some saying they had to sign paperwork confirming the factory had all the options they ordered..

My dealer (after almost a month after rode placement & lots of emails and phone calls) gave me three pieces of information: VIN #, a vague it should be finished before the 4th of July and it is due to enter the Paint Process on 6/05/2015.

Does anyone have a list and sequence of items in the build process and how they received info of where there vehicle was in the process? One post suggested calling a Factory Rep and asking these questions.

I would appreciate any information and/or links to posts that would be helpful to a newbie like me.

1. ask the dealer for an MSRP sheet filled out to your spec. That is what people mean by build sheet. It is the specs for the unit you ordered or looked at. This, you should be able to find in any unit on the lot.
2. 2nd year warranty is only for trailers, not motorhomes.
3. As I mentioned earlier, you would have to get a VIN or serial number from your dealer. They have units on order, but none with specific names on them, so there is no way for me to determine which one they have slated for you.
4. Vague is good. If it goes to paint on 6/5 that is the offline date then. It comes offline then goes to paint. Getting it by July 4th seems to be a good estimate. There are WAY too many variables (paint delays, parts shortages, driver delays, etc, etc) to give a specific completion date.

You have a VIN, a paint date and an approximate completion date. Was there something specific you were looking for beyond that?
