Plumbing Question

I found some interesting plumbing underneath the bathroom sink. Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Looks like it could be a backflow valve or something? The upper black pipe going towards the wall has the word "flow" on it with an arrow towards the wall. Thanks!

If you have a black tank flush, it's likely a black flow preventer.

It is the check valve/vacuum breaker for your black tank flush.

Make sure the flow arrow is pointing towards the black tank and not the hose connection on the outside of your MBS.

On my Rpod it was reversed and the check valve would not allow water flow to the black tank flush sprayer.

It was correctly installed on my Vibe and Solera.

If you don't hear any spray activity when connected and pressurized, this is usually why.

Thanks, the black tank flush was one of the first things I tested after reading some stories here about the check valve being installed wrong. The black tank flush seems to work fine and I can certainly hear the spray inside the tank. Happy to now know where the check valve is and can locate it if I ned to troubleshoot and/or monitor over time. Cheers!
