Questions about new Solera

We're looking at ordering a Solera in the next week and was wondering about the TV. Is it easy to install one yourself?
A couple of other things we were wondering about was the diesel generator or the propane(pros & cons), and also the sofa ipo the dinette.
Has anyone opted for the sofa? Does it convert to a bed, and is there storage underneath?

The TV itself would be easy. The swingarm that it is mounted to is the 'real' piece you want. Adding the TV shouldn't be an issue and your dealer should be able to provide alternative(s) in mounting.

Diesel generators are more noisy (vibration). I hate the noise from the propane one already and wouldn't want the diesel one even so I considered it before. Advantage of the diesel one would be that you have more fuel on board but when using the generator a lot you might find yourself with only a limited amount of fuel for driving....

For us the sofa was never an option. We saw a Winnebago with a sofa in place of a dinette in that location and immediately ran (it was USELESS). That one did convert to a bed and had some storage (but the dinette has two HUGE drawers as well).
