Reducing cabin noise

On the road, it's pretty loud in the cabin of my 2011S. I'm planning to install carpeting, but beyond that, has anyone done anything to reduce driving noise?

Made the wife go sleep in the back, but that was just a temporary fix.

Are we talking about the cab or the coach?

Can you be a little more specific on "cab noise" issues. I think S owners can give you their input if they know what noises you are refering to.

We have wind noise, but that's it. We also have a squeak from somewhere on very bumpy roads. But nothing that I feel needs fixing. We do have the ES model, so we do have carpet in the cab.

I have the same issue! I did the cab floor with Dynamat extreme liner. There is some noise reduction but not as much as I would like. The doors and fire wall area is much harder to get to. I think that the rear view mirrors cause a lot of wind noise.bottom line, it is expensive to use the Dynamat for marginal results. I may go to a thicker full coverage floor carpet to help. Still looking for a solution, good luck.

We have carpet in our cab and we haven't really noticed any noise to speak of, so maybe that's what you need to look into.

The squeek you mention, does it originate from where the cab meets the coach body ,either behind the passenger or drivers seat?

If this question is for me, yes, seems to. I thought it originally was the TV bracket, but that's not it. Again, it's not bad, just on bumpy roads (Louisiana).

You might try applying a silicone spray lubricant to to rubber seal located between the cab and coach box. You can access the seal from the outside by applying the lubricate at the rub point, where the seal meets the coach box. The noise occurs when the box moves seperate from the cab (chassis) as you would incur on a rough road.
