Remove Dinette / Install new Dbl recliner 2013 24S

Ordered new double recliner loveseat. It has a middle arm rest with cup holders. Looks more like theater seats. Should be here in couple weeks.

Today removed table and benches. Pulled existing carpet to upgrade with new.

I want to install loveseat before I decide on trim or maybe table.

Will keep you posted. Wish me luck!

Bob

Be interested in seeing a few pictures if possible. Any measurements would be wonderful. Did you get it local or ? I'd like to replace our couch/sofa. I like the idea of reclining in ours but i thought it would limit use in clearance when reclining. Thanks for your post.

Thanks, pictures would be great. We have a 2013 24S too and we find the dinette is functional and versatile but it just isn't too comfortable to sit in. Trying to watch the TV is impossible for the one bench so we convert it to the bed and with a couple of large pillows it does a good job as a deep sofa. I've been thinking of pulling out the dinette and putting in a sofa. The only problem is the loss of a stable built in table and the under bench drawers. I'll be interested in seeing how your conversion goes and how you like it afterwards.

I'm glad you posted this. I've been looking for this same thing to replace my sofa. I have 71-72 inches to work with, so this would fit. I can't find on the link where the different color options are. We'd need a dark brown color. Mind me asking how much that set was??

We have a 2014 24S and also find it uncomfortable to watch the TV and sit for long periods of time. Please let us know how your project turn out, with pictures if possible.

Roberto, interesting idea. Any idea how much the new chairs weigh? Do you have any plans to fasten the chairs to the floor or will they sit freely? Will they fit in the door or do you have to take the backs off? Inquiring minds want to know.

Good luck with everything and we'll be looking for the pictures.

Our Solera is a 2011 24S. We had solve TV watching comfortably without removing the table. We removed the the TV from the upper top bracket and purchased an arm and attache to facing just below the upper bed. most of the time we have the upper bed closed. but even when open theTV rest under it. The arm has two horizontal elbow joint, this give you the flaxability to turn the arm to set the TV to face you when you set on the back of the seat with your leg starched also on it, facing the TV eye level. we placed the pillow facing the window, placed a wire backrest over it and we had the best view of the TV. The TV arm attached should be attache about 4- to 5 inches to the right of the center. make sure th the top of the TV clear the bottom of the Upper bed, when you fold down the bed at knight. When your travel fold the arm to face the TV inside. We replace the TV came with the unit with a 24" RCA full H. D. and has lot of room to get in to the cab. If any interest I will post a picture. We wanted to keep the table it is very handy to eat on it.

Nice! Those fit in there like they were made for it. How does that table work for you?

I changed to a smaller round top and lowered it to just above the chair arm. This works for light eating and drinks, etc.

Project complete. Pictures of new loveseat

Project is complete. Finally a place to set back and relax! Built cabinet with tray table on each side of loveseat with magazine racks behind them. Work perfect with existing tv arm. I am sending 2 pictures.
