Retractable Step

Can Anyone give me instructions on how to lube the retractable step? It won't open, I can hear the motor trying to open so it is not the .thanks

Do you have the step switch in the correct position? If not, the step might make a noise but not open. My LCI instruction booklet said it does not need lubrication. I have a 2014 24R.

My step wouldn't open either but sounded like it was trying to. Problem was not lubrication but a broken bolt that dealer found and repaired.
