Saw a Solera in CA

I was heading north on CA99 in mine on Sunday afternoon 11/29.

It was heading south on CA99, just past CA152 junction in holiday traffic.

It was white and looked to be a 2010-2012 model.

Sorry bout that traffic, mate!

2x100 watt
Renology flex able panels
Also use a mppt controller
Suppose to be more efficient
Mine are used to keep batteries charged at all times. The panels follow the curve of the roof and are very light. Per renology, attached with 2 inch industrial strength Velcro all around.

The Renogy flexible panels were recalled 1/28/2016 for fires. Renogy is replacing them with traditional panels or refunding the purchase price. Doug, you may want to give them a call if you didn't get a notice. I just sent 4 back to exchange for their eclipse panels. Still getting remainder as a refund.

How are the eclipse panels mounted
I liked the flex able because no holes in my roof. Those eclipse look to be more efficient

I liked the flexible panels as well but not much choice now. The new panels use solar mounting brackets. I ordered stickyfeet from Rvsolarstor. They are no drill and use 3m vhb adhesive. I am planning to use 4 per panel as the panels are small due to the efficiency. After they cure for 72 hrs I plan to put a larger puddle of dicor around each foot for additional bonding without driling. I already received the feet, they look durable. Just waiting for the replacement panels. At least i get to use all my wiring work.

Did u have to pay extra for those eclipse . What I read was people were over bending panels and they would crack and that's what caused over heating. I just love the flushness
No wind noise

i originally bought the panels thru renogy's amazon store. They emailed me about the recall thru amazon. They offered to refund fully or i could get panels toward the refund. I paid more than the Eclipse panels by a few dollars so i am to get a small refund up to the total price paid. They sent me a pre paid return box to return the panels. Renogy received them wed on fed tracking so i am now waiting for the replacements.
