The storage tube will not accommodate a hose with a coupling on both ends.

The hose that comes with the unit has a coupling on one end only.

If I use that hose I add a coupling while in use and then remove for storage.

Maybe someone else has found a tube with a small enough coupling to fit in the tube, but I have not. It is kind of a waste of space IMO.

I just grind the little tabs off the outside of the couplers to where they will fit in the tubes.

We were able to put 20 feet of hose below in the sewer compartment. It's a tight fit but it works!

We have (4) tubes just shy of 8' each, 2 round perforated and 2 square ones.

I realize that with a little imagination I can travel with a couple of hundred yarfs of hose.

I jusst traded a Pleasure Way 3500 Super Van. I traveled the country for 9 years. It had a similar storage compartment. It would a accomodate a one ended hose that worked for me 99 percent of dumping. That;s wahat I need to know. How long of a open ended hose with a connector on the other end will the hose compartment accept?

The compartment (tube) is 24" deep from the inside of the door. So any hose you could compress to less than 24" would work (- the one end).
