Shelf at side of bed?

I noticed that several sprinter RV s have a shelf on each side of the rear slide out bed. Has anyone modified their 24 R by adding a shelf to the side of the bed? For a book, eyeglass, CPAP, flash lite , etc..?

No shelf for me, just use top of the valance above each slide out window.

Yep, built a small shelf for my S model to hold earrings, glasses. Saves getting up after you have already turned in.
