Should I buy a new Solera?

From what I understand the Solera model is being discontinued which is unfortunate because it is the first RV my husband and I completely agreed on and were excited about. There are still new ones available but I worry about buying something that won't be manufactured anymore - does that matter much? Will parts be readily available? Is it being discontinued because of some defect? Going to RV show today and will ask these questions but wanted to get some experienced opinions here as well.

I don't think it is being discontinued; just a name change. Same construction; same stuff; different name. All components are off the shelve so I would not worry about it.

The Forest River "Forester MBS" and "Sunseeker MBS" are more-or-less twins of the Solera. They may have slightly different paint schemes, etc., but both are Sprinter-based and offer the same floorplans as Solera (well, maybe the new "W" floorplan is not being offered in the Solera line?)

In any case, you'll do fine with any one of the three brands. If you're uncomfortable with the likely demise of the Solera brand, go with one of the other two.
