Slide Gap

My almost new Solera"s slide has a small, half inch gap in front when it is closed. The rear snugs up fine, but the front doesn't pull in all the way. Anyone know of an adjustment on the slide mechanism? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I have a 2008 831RLSS Flagstaff and it seems like my slide is a little tighter at the top on the back corner than on the front corner. I was wondering if there is anyway to level the slide.

I'll look into it. I know it can be adjusted (typically at the dealer), but I'll see if there is an easy way to adjust it and save the hassle of a service appt.

There are (2) adjustment points on that slide. One is the "feet" of the ram, the other is the "timing mechanism" which is probably the one you want.

If you run the slide all the way out, where the slide ram enters the unit...there is a cylinder (looks a silencer for a gun) with a bunch of holes in it. Remove the bolt that is in one of the holes, push it in about 1/2" (whatever the gap is) and put the bolt back in to the closest hole. When the slide comes in, that side will then come in more.

I had a unit out here, but now its gone. I'll try and get some pictures if that cylinder is not obvious.

Just to clarify, you run the slide out all the way out. Pull off the white cover to get access to the mechanicals. And by "push it in" I mean the slide room...then put the bolt back in the hole of the silencer.
