Sofa instead of dinette

We are just about to pull the trigger on a new 24R and want a sofa instead of dinette. My question (not being answered by dealer) is, is the sofa a jack-knife or fold out?

Tell the dealer to request which one you want on the order. If you want a Jack-knife, then make sure you specify that. If you want the "Visionary Sofa" which is sort of like a pull out, then specify it. We're running the jack-knife now, but we have part numbers for a visionary. Unless there is an engineering issue with it, I should be able to do either.

Thanks! We want the pull out version. Just was not getting an answer from our dealer. Can you give me an idea of how long a special order would take to get out here to Idaho? I realize the dealer would not have just one rig shipped but they do not have a model with all the features we want.

Looking at late mid-late July if the order is in by this Monday (we schedule another batch of units Tuesday). If it's not in by then, it would be August.

Like My Sofa

I special ordered my 2012 Solara 24S with a sofa instead of the dinette. I'm guessing it is considered a pullout but not sure. You lift the bottom and pull towards you to make a bed. I wanted the sofa for my dog (a collie) who is a couch potato. It really works well for me and my dog. I have the entertainment center with the nice Jensen HD TV at the front. I run DISH Satelllite (pay as you go - one month at time) to the tv and sports galore when I'm out on the road. I think you're making a great choice on the Solera and sofa option. I've had my Solera for about 2 and 1/2 years now and couldn't be happier.
