Solera 24 R slide out bed
I found it difficult to make the bed so I purchased a 2 inch topper memory foam as a solution. I use fitted queen sheet & other bedding over the foam topper only. When we are ready to leave, I pull the memory foam forward and then hit the slide in switch. When we get to our destination, slide out and then push the memory foam back.
This makes it lots easier, especially when you're moving around often.
Memory foam makes the bed much more comfortable.
I'm guessing many of you have already figured this out but still wanted to share.

We did too and used same exact method. Way easier when one night stands are in order.

I need a detail information. You mean you put a 2" topper instead of original 2pc bed?

I put the 2 inch topper, on top of the existing 2 piece mattress.

Is it easier than before? We have to push and pull 2pcs at the same time...(2"Topper and an original mattress), right?

I can only speak for myself, before I start the slide-in, I pull only the memory foam forward about a 1- 2 feet (this is probably the most difficult part) It just gets things started. The rest of the bed will follow when I push the slide-in button.
When we stop, I push the slide out button and stop it at one third to a half and push the topper forward, then start the slide out again.
I think each person will find their own way, but it sure beats crawling up and making the whole bed each time we move. For me, the mattress that came with the Solera was too hard, so this was a big help.
Good Luck

I also have a two inch memory foam topper, because the other mattress is like sleeping on a rock. When I put on clean sheets I pull everything toward me so I can teach the corners to get started, but for everyday use of the slide, I've never had to move the topper or the bedding.

We bought ours at Camping World See Here. It was on sale and is very comfortable. If you get one of these it works best if you place the memory foam under, not in, the mattress cover. That way when the bed is retracted the cover holds it in place. Plus the memory foam doesn't bunch up or shift as much. We haven't had any issues with the cover popping off, or requiring a bed remake, every time the bed is extended or retracted.
Target also has memory foam toppers only in our local store.

Mattress Topper
I purchased mine at Camping World (on sale) and it is 2 inches but I've seen them at Costco (3 Inch) for a good price.
