Here is the quote from BClemens.

DSF026730 (our serial number) was officially the start of the new build. However, confirm the new cap visually if its close. We had to go back and build a few retails on the older style. Just in case one of those retails backed out there may be one lingering (just to be safe)

So is the height spec on the website of 11'-8" with the A/C for the OLD unit, or the new ones? Is an older one over 12' ? What about the width of 91'-5".

My barn where the unit is parking is only 12'

Thanks!

Don't quote me. I suspect it may result in marginally improved mileage. The new spec would result in slightly less frontal area, so maybe less wind resistance! Probably 0.01 mpg!!!

Any increase in mpg will more than likely be offset by your lead foot now that the unit looks faster.

Maybe this has been addressed in another post, but what drove the ht., width. change. Was it the configeration of the new MB chassis having a lower profile. Just wondering.

Wanted a lower floor height for the front swivel seats and a more aerodynamic cap. The new MB was just a bonus.

We're looking forward to traveling with our Brandy Cat in our new Solera. She does not like sleeping with us at home but we'll see if that changes. Loved the dog stories.
