Solera 24R Closet is wet from rain

We checked our 2013 Solera 24R this week because of all of the rain we have had in "sunny California" and found the passenger side bedroom closet had dampness. It was getting dark so could not check anything for leaks. Any suggestions as to where to look for leak spots. The moisture was only in the closet in the rear passenger side. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Look to the roof first. I have a 24r as well, and it has no ladder. So I always carry a collapsible telescopic ladder. Get on the roof and check for any interruption in the seal of the dicor along the rear seam. That's the most likely. End would be at the weatherstripping on the passenger side of the rear slide out. I am less enthusiastic about this as the water would likely drain down into the rear compartment or the bed area.

Agree with checking the roof. Last year I found the dicor drying out and cracking at the roof corners where the side and rear seams meet. Water pools there on its way off the roof. Cleaned the dicor surface and reapplied fresh Dicor. Also found a small unsealed gap under the rear gutter that I sealed with clear silicone. May want to look closely at the inner window seals near the closet. Last Winters project was to replace the inner gaskets that had contracted and pulled off the corners of the windows creating a gaps for wind driven water. Good luck

Finally got some sunshine and retrieved the 24R from storage. As predicted above the Dicor had dried and cracked. Easy to replace with new. Very little water got in and no damage. Thanks for your help and advice.

Make sure to scrape off the old stuff where it's cracked. It's pretty soft and malleable, so it just takes time. Scrape back a bit on either side of the breach. Use some lighter fluid or acetone to clean the old stuff off the fiberglass. Then add more dicor.
