Solera extended warranty

Does Forest River offer a second year on the Solera? If so, how much?

I think iv'e seen several times they do not offer it.

You'll have to find third party warranty.

I was told by my dealer that there is no factory warranty other than the initial one for the 2013 Solera. I asked very secifically because of what I ahd read heree on the FR forums.

I did buy the dealer offered 7 year warranty. (I do not want to debate that decision). Assuming that there is actually a second year warranty available for my 2013 Solera is is still worth the $150, as the coverage is quite likely very much duplicated?

i believe that the 2nd year factory warranty is only available on towables, not motorhomes.

That is correct. I called last year when our Sunseeker was new and found the second year only available for towables.

Hi,
Just bought a 2013 Solera 24S (Used-2000 Miles)- Dealer is offering a cabin extended four year warranty for $2,683 (thru Interstate Star RV) and tire and wheel insurance for $600 (thru National Safe Drivers-NSD). Is the pricing about right or can I do better somewhere else? Chasis warranty is still good via MB. Appreciate your advice.
