Solera outside hose slip coupling is leaking

Does anyone have expierence on whether you can replace the slip coupling that the coiled hose plugs into. Mine leaks, when the hose is not plugged into the coupling, and it looks like it might be a threaded fitting. And if replaceable, who carries a fitting like that. Thanks

If this is the wash out hose in the rear compartment? The coupling is on a threaded pipe which can be taken off with a wrench. As far as finding one I'd take the coupling to a RV supplier or hardware store. I replaced the entire unit a couple of years ago when I forgot to winterize it and broke the pipe. Then afterward I found that it could be fixed.

Yep Henry, its that hose connection assembly. Just never saw a slip coupling piece for water like that. Seen em for air, so not sure where to locate the part.

I was able to get the entire unit at a local RV dealer, it's pretty expensive about $60. Might check with one to see if you can get the coupling by itself?

Just my 2 cents, but if I ever have to replace mine, I'll modify it to a 1/4 turn valve with a garden hose coupling and ditch the slinky/slip coupling. Simple and cost effective.

Might end up doing that very thing. I have a message into the mfg. asking for the part source. Looking at the hose end, i'm not sure if its compatible with a std air connection configuration. The unit itself is patented, so waiting on their response. My guess is that some fresh water tank construction/installation debris ended up lodged in the slip fitting.

Looks like the same connector for the outside shower.

One in the same. It's a hose connection on the Solera.
