Solera Slide & Factory Support

Every once in a while a unit has to come off the line that shouldn’t and unfortunately for us our 2014 Solera was one. From day one the slide did not work properly.
On the plus side, FR was supportive in authorizing work. After several attempts at two different repair facilities, FR arranged for our unit to be worked on at the factory.
While quality control was obviously negligent in their job, the warranty department did what a customer service representative should do, took care of the customer.
As a full timer for over twenty years traveling with many other RVers over that span we have never heard of a manufacture stepping up to the plate voluntarily the way FR did.
Now we plan our trips to visit family and friends and we missed out on some scheduled trips because of the slide issue, but overall FR did their best to correct their error.
We are now off to visit grandkids then head to Yellowknife, NWT, Canada. Why? Because we have not been there and it is time to go north out of the Arizona summer.
