Sprinter ABS failure

How many have had the ABS fail due to speed sensors. Mine failed at less then 6000 miles.

I had one fail at approx. 18,000 miles. MB sprinter dealer replaced it and no more problems so far.

ABS

I was just thinking( Oh No) if this may become a ongoing problem. I think we are not the only ones. I was 500 miles into a 8000 mile trip. The part had to be ordered and the MB dealer broke my vent cover on the lift (new). I did not find it till I was about 400 miles down the road (Duck tape to the rescue). He did however eat the overnight that MB would not cover. But he did not mention the cover.

Not sure what the "cover" your referring too is, but I would document everything and if they refuse to fix what they obviously broke, sue in small claims. They will settle when they get notified to appear.

You will have to establish for your claim, detailed cost, including parts and labor.

The broken cover was more then offset by them paying for the overnight of the part. I guess I got things a little off track. It was more of a annoyance. I am more interested in knowing how many have had this problem but thanks for your advice.
