Sprinter Repair -Houston Area?

While driving along in the Texas hill country my 2010 Solera S went into a limp mode. I found a great diesel repair shop in Kerrville Tx (Le Meillieur- 5 stars in my book).
The diagnostics are showing a bad EGR valve - a replacement from Mercecdes will take 3 days to get here in Kerrville. Mechanic says no issues with driving back home to Magnolia Tx as is ( once he reset the code)- test drove a good bit yesterday and all seems good.
The engine only has 20k miles on it- two questions:
Would this likely be a warranty item by Mercedes?
If so can anyone recommend a good Sprinter repair shop near Houston?

And I guess a third question - my coach is a Freightliner badged unit- would I need to bring to Freightlner for repair?
Thanks to all for any replies!!!

Well, I know very little about such things... But I'm always willing to throw in a few cents. Anyway, I think the EGR valve is part of the emissions system and is covered for (at least) 5 years and 100,000 miles - so I do think it will be covered.

I don't know repair shops in the Houston area, but I'd probably opt for a Mercedes (Sprinter) shop over Freightliner. I think the Sprinters were a minor distraction for Freightliner but they're a pretty big business for Mercedes.

As I said, not knowing anything!

Freightliner is just a rebadged Mercedes. Should be able to take it to any "authorized" repair for either.
