Stabilizers

I just got a new solera without any stabilizers. I was told by local dealer that there is no room anywhere to install any on it.

Has any of you manage to pot one on ?

thanks, emilizik

Bigfoot by Quadra has a bolt on application that is key fob operated. We have looked at them, but the clearance is not the greatest.

Maybe they're not on the website yet. they have a stabilizer, just (2) in the back (not a 4 point leveling system). Or maybe that was just a proto I saw. I'll look into it.

I noticed that as well. I know one of the owners, I'll see if they are offering that yet, or if it was still in design stage. It was (2) bolt on hydraulic stands in the back. Key fob brought each stand down in that back. It was only designed to stabilize not level.

I have an email into the owner to see if they are out of "proto-stage". I think they were off the shelf parts (for them).

I think it's Bigfoot that makes some. But they only go in the back.

Again, to confirm Bigfoot by Quadra has a bolt on application that is key fob operated.

Call Big Foot and let them know you want rear stabilizers for a Solera

Poppy Bill...Please look at the post right before yours. FROM THE FACTORY we have an option for Big Foot stabilizers. Call Big Foot and they can get them for you.

No one makes a (4) point leveling system for the Sprinter at this time. It also takes away from the carrying capacity, which is a pretty light chassis to begin with. The only thing available is the (2) point stabilizer (makes a huge difference) that they designed for us. Camping world does not have anything for this...Big Foot does.

I had these hydraulic stabilizers installed by the dealer as part of the sale.
Haven't used them yet! You can see there is a clearance issue to be aware of but not a problem as far as I can see.
i thought it was a must-have to reduce the side to side sway.
Hope this helps. It does have a key-fob to operate while you view whats going on.
