Steering stabilizer for Solera

Has any one installed a steering stabilizer on their Solera. Talked to someone in a Tiffin Breeze and he said they installed one for him at the factory for free. He said he went from white knuckle to one finger driving. Is there one that works on the Sprinter.

I haven't seen a steering stabilizer being advertised for the MBS. I've been looking at several suspension upgrade websites and would have thought I'd seen one by now.

As far as needing one with our "W" I haven't felt it needs a steering stabilizer. We do have the larger Hellwig sway bar, installed by FR, so that may make a big difference according to everything I've read here.

MB sprinter doesn't need it. In fact, I was thinking of lighting the cruise and just laying down on the back bed for a snooze.

I just finished a 8,000 mile trip across country and I do not think I would do that. I have installed the new sway bar and SummoSprings. While they did make a big difference I had many white knuckle rides in the wind. I just think anything that can be done should be explored. The 2015 Sprinters have a new cross wind stabilizer system. Guess somebody at MB thought it needed something. JM2C On the other side of the coin my fuel mileage improved from 11.5 to almost 15 MPG during the trip.

I've put the Hellwig sway bar on a couple of years ago which helped a lot and some day I may look into new and better shocks, but as high as the Solera sets lets face it, it's just a big wind target.

I installed a sway assist on my Solera. I travel thru the very windy Mohave Desert frequently and used to get blown around. The sway assist helps a lot.

I have a 2015 Solera ( 2014 Sprinter chassis ) and I have had no stability problems whatsoever, wind, rain, poor pavement included. It is my understanding that 2014 and newer Sprinters have upgraded suspensions as well as stability control built in.
