Stove Top

My wife found out the hard way that the stove top on or new 2014 Solera was as slick as a ski slope and canted outward. She has to stand there and hold whatever pan she is cooking with, or it will go sliding off. Any solutions for this problem out there? Also how do you take a shower without having the water run down the ledge of the tub onto the floor? Hey Forest River, are you listening? Other than that, along with some other problems (lousy thermostat, graphics that peel in a snow storm, a fuel tank that will only last 300 miles on a good day, no HD dvd player, and build quality that insults the good design of the engineers) we love our Solera, and would buy it again, especially for the Mercedes Benz chassis.

If you are sure your Solera is level then make sure the grate over the burners on the stove top is pushed down all the way on all four corners.

I never had a problem with either the stove/counter or shower. And mine didn't have levels at all. Something is wrong, take it to the dealer and have them check it out. IMO

Agree with all of the above. Grate may raised up in the back. I've cooked on mine, no issues. Same range top we used in about 3,000 units last year.

As for the shower? 24R with curtain?

The only thing I can think of is if this is your campsite.

That guy wanted to get a "water front" campsite. But, I think his neck will hurt after a while looking at the water. No shower leak, stove slide off issues here either.

I know what you mean. There isn't any "grip" for the pans. Also the grate rods are to far apart. And yes our 24S is level front to back, side to side.
