Swivel Seats

I am in the process of getting a new motorhome. Does anybody have swivel seats (driver and passenger side or at least knows about possibilities to modify?
Thanks for any reply,
Hans

Welcome to the forums. My front seats, both passenger and driver, both swivel to face into the coach area. They are factory installed in the coach. Hope this helps.

When looking at the coaches I would have the saleman show you. Unless I am doing something incorrect our 378TS is stated to swivel around, however the seats have to be straight up and just right in order to get just over a quarter of the way, not a 180 degree turn that is for sure.
Good luck in your search for the right Forest River for you.

Barney

Since you asked in the Solera section I assume you want to know if they swivel in the Solara and not the other coaches......

In our 2011 Solera they do not and I don't miss that either. When parked we sit in the back and don't need the front seats. I'm sure it is possible to replace the seats with swivel chairs if wanted (not an option from from Forest River). Unless you plan to camp with >4 people in the Solera I don't see the need for this.

Yes, the question was for the Solera....and there are pro and cons for it - and in a small unit like the Solera it would be a must for me!

Thanks for the replies, maybe there is one who modified the seats????

I'm sure that there are swivel seats available somehow. The Winnebago ERA does have them and I would check with a MB dealer that services Sprinters if they can swap seats or install the swivel plate underneath the existing ones.

One thing to keep in mind is that the living quarters are about 1/2 to 1 foot higher than the front area so sitting won't be as comfi as with the seats facing forward.

This is probably what you are looking for:

Seat Swivels

I just took delivery of a new Solera and am considering the same mod myself. Let us know what you decide and how you make out.
