Tail Light Malfunction

2014 24R. I noticed the left rear tail light was on this morning on my parked Solera. Just that one. I don't know how long it had been on. Headlight switch was in off position. Toggled the dash switch back and forth several times, left tail still on. Disconnected battery in footwell. Tail still on. Switched coach batteries off. Left tail still on! Where the heck is the power coming from to power the tail light?????
(I am plugged into shore power.)
7 hours later, still on.
8 hours later, it's off.
Toggled headlight switch, works OK. Now that it's working, when toggling the headlight switch, I can hear the click of what sounds like a relay coming from the rear compartment where that fuse panel is located. No one needs a parasitic drain like this, especially if it evidently comes and goes of it's own free will.
Does any one know if there is a relay back there for the rear lights? If it's bad, I want it replaced.
Does anyone know why the tail stayed on when the batteries were disconnected?

Shore power is providing 12v dc power even with batteries off line. Is it possibly a brake light?

Tail, not brake light. Constant on with intermittent flickering, whether or not plugged in to shore. Must be a short. Here we go again to get something else fixed at the dealer before I can head out on a trip.

On our 2013r, problem caused by circuit board. Located directly to right of water filter, behind panel (which has to be removed). Replaced, problem fixed.

Andy, I think that's the problem. Using the best and first tool a mechanic learns to use (a hammer), I've got the malfunction to stop and start again. THANKS! I'll take it in tomorrow, get the board ordered, delay our trip
Thinking I should have went with a Winnie after all the issues I've had with this rig!

We had a similar problem just after taking delivery of our 2015 Sunseeker (on a 2014 chassis). I noticed what appeared to be a single parking light on the driver's side lit with everything else turned off. After trying every trick I could manage and reading the chassis manual, I finally started the engine and tried the lights with the engine running. The left side tail lights seemed to operate normally but the right rear turn signal flicked unusually. When i turned it all off again, the left rear taillight remained on again. I took it back to my dealer who diagnosed it as a taillight relay. They replaced the relay (it had to be ordered) and all is well again/no further problems. I hope your problem is no more complex than ours was….

By the way, the main chassis battery is under the driver side floorboard and there is a disconnect switch under the left dashboard if you look carefully.

Had a similar incident w/2015 24r in which the two left tail lights had inner led rings that burned dimly all the time....replaced under warrenty with a Curt Module 56146 (info sent to me by Bclemens of FR who you see on this forum), Module replaced and light works as supposed to. You might have your RV dealer check the voltage or module and see if it's malfunctioning.
You can buy this thing online from Amazon, et al and replace it yourself if so desired...it's not that expensive. $22.12...prime too.

Still under warranty, so swung by the RV shop this am. They have ordered the part needed. I'll be boondocking the next few days, so they showed me which plug to disconnect on that circuit panel near the water pump so I don't drain the battery.
