Question Towing with 2401S

We'll be picking up our new 2401S (Mercedes Sprinter) in about three weeks -- very excited! -- and are thinking about how to tow our 2013 Mini Cooper (front wheel drive, manual trans). We'd love to hear from any others have who have similar set-up on how to best do this. 4-down? Tow dolly? Any special modifications required?
Any/all input appreciated!

John & Sherry

We test drove a new minicooper to tow, stick shift, and almost bought until asked if we could flat tow. Was told all warrantee was voided by mini USA . That's why we bought jeep.
If you buy mini I think you will need a dolly. I wanted a mini convertible, but didn't want to be bothered storing a dolly.

Sounds typical of MiniUSA. Used to have a Cooper S and a Countryman S. Never again.

Towing my 2014 Fiat Abarth on all fours now with a Blue Ox Base Plate and a Ready Brute Elite. Very smooth with the Sprinter Chassis.

I have a very nice Towmaster Dolly with electric brakes and spare tire that I am looking to part with, if anyone is interested.
