Trekker Low Profile Front Cap

One of the options listed for the Sunseeker MBS 2400R is the Trekker Low Profile Front Cap. Does anyone know what this option consists of? Are any pictures of it available? Thanks.

Check the photos in this advertisement: 2016 Forest River Rv Sunseeker MBS 2400W

I really like the looks of it from the outside... But I wouldn't want to lose all the storage space we have with the regular cap and the Entertainment Center option instead of a bunk.

Makes it look aerodynamic but its unlikely to make any difference in economy - plus the word "option" usually means it costs more.

Very smart and talented designers strive to provide eye appeal to distinguish their product on the RV lot. Think of it as curb appeal on a house.

When you're driving or living in one of these, you won't notice how it looks.

Fully agree with RedLdr1.

Thank you for the info Wayne. I really like the looks of it. I assume that it would be more aerodynamic and lighter wight and should therefore get a little better mileage. The Winnebago View Profile gets slightly better mileage than the View. However, i agree with you and that I don't know if I want to give up the extra storage/sleeping space for the more aerodynamic look. Based on the RV One Superstores price list it is a zero cost option.

Correct. No charge option.

I can see skinnying it out for aerodynamics or even for good looks, but only if it ADDS not removes storage! 😅

The View Profile is the #1 selling Sprinter for Winnie. Seems, at least a few people wanted a more aerodynamic front end.

If we had not decided on the "W" floor plan I would want the smaller cap. The issue is the "W" has less external storage then the other MBS floor plans. So I didn't want to lose the extra internal storage space we gained with the optional "Entertainment Center". Now, if we were still looking at a "R" floor plan I'd definitely go with the smaller cap. It's all about the "trade offs" in our case...

Brian,

What is the square footage of the the MBS floor plans? And do you include the cab seating area and overhead front bunk, or "Entertainment Center" when you calculate it?
