TV through Surround Sound

Just picked up our new 24R yesterday. Really excited. I fear we will have lots of questions, but I seem fixated on the electronics for now. Does anyone know how to play the TV through the surround sound speakers. We have the new Jensen radio. DVD plays through surround sounds speakers, but not regular TV. Thanks for your help!

Sometimes they're not connected to run television, only DVDs. But if it is connected to run tele, go thru settings on stereo looking for "input" and see if it works with AV1 or AV2. Mine works on AV 2.

I worked a few hours to figure mine out a few weeks ago while camping. I can't hear the TV with a\c on high. so if I remember, my TV red & white jacks were in aux 1 on side of TV. on head unit I put it on rear taft button & aux 2. changed TV RCA jacks to aux2 and then it worked. The Jensen manual was a great help as to how to get to screen you need. good luck.

Our Roo 233s came with it plugged in. it was connected using the headphone jack on the TV connecting to one of the aux ports on the back of the head unit.

Yes, it can be done. On '12 Solera equipped with a magnadyne m4 in dash system. Switch magnadyne to AV2 and turn TV speakers to off on your set.

If that is not the exact set-up on your unit, I believe the audio and video cabling coming from your radio to the TV will allow you to use the amplifier in your radio to drive the house speakers. Just remember to turn the TV speakers to the off position.
