Warranty repair delays

Has anyone else been quoted lengthy repair times? I am trying to get some electrical issues, windshield and other body molding issues fixed. I am being quoted 5 weeks to get it in for them to look at it...

Is this the dealer you bought it from?

That seems excessive, particularly if that's just to look at it. 'Cause then they'll have to get warranty approval, order parts, wait for the parts to arrive, then reschedule you (another 5 weeks???) before fixing anything.

I might look for another service supplier...

Yes, it is the dealer that I bought it from. They say "I honestly do not know, I believe that most RV service centers are as busy as we are. In most cases other service dealers wonít even work on a coach they didnít sell." Maybe I shouldn't have told them that I plan on leaving for a trip in 5 weeks.

Ask them to if there service writers can look at what needs to be done, get the list of work and parts needed, order and order the parts. You tkae the unit home until the parts cone in.

That must be the norm in the industry. I had the same issues with my dealer and I've bought two units from them.

I've only waited 2-3 weeks for my dealer who says they are very busy.
