Forester

Ours is a 24' with one slide exactly like the one they have in stock, spec'd out exactly the same way, only we can't complete the purchase until after Jan. 1, so might as well start with a factory fresh unit. the only thing I'm adding is a rear ladder which supprisingly this model doesn't come with. Then I'm going to invest in a CalMark cover to protect it from sun damage while not in use. Neither one of us has any rv experiance so I'm not really sure what else we might need. Salesman was Chris issacs.

Yes, poppytoymaker, we really love the floor plan you've chose, too. And, the rear ladder would be nice. We might see about adding one in the future.
Take good care!

Well, for those of you who asked, here are a few pictures of our Forester. I forgot to take some with the slides open, but of course you get the idea. I really love the way the whole coach is accessible even with the slides in....so convenient.
The BBQ looks pretty nice! We'll see if I like it as much as my Weber Q, which I love!

Very nice

I really wanted a MB diesel, but a little more than I could spend. Good luck with it.

FIVE2MH, that's a beautiful MH! Congrats! Is that full body paint? It looks really nice, I love it. Are you able to sit on the lower part of the rear bed with the slide in?

Yes, it is full-body paint. Our fifth wheel had it, and it was a snap to keep clean, so we opted for it again.

FIVE2MH, great pictures and glad to here you're enjoying it. We get delivery of ours next month... first time RVer's. Can you tell me, have you had any issues withe the split mattress slipping out of the sheets when the slider goes in-out? Also, were able to get standard queen size bedding to fit perfectly?

Thank you! We've only spent one night in it thus far, but we hope to go south to The Keys for a few days next week.
Yes, regular queen sheets work well, and with a good quilted mattress pad, it was very comfortable. The slide did go in without taking anything off, and we'll see how it all "unfolds" next week! I'll let you know.
Can't wait to see pictures when you get yours. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help!

I'm still confused, I'm seeing listings for Sunseeker MBS, and Forester MBS - on the respective front caps. I realize that the Solera is being phased out, but is the Forester the higher end option? I was looking at RV Direct, and they offer the Sunseeker MBS, but I see a number of options missing, like the automatic satellite dish. I am also curious about the new floor plan - it is for sure coming out in December?

I think Mr. Clemons said the new floorplan would be coming out in Dec. Don't know the differences between the Sunseeker and Forester. Sorry..
