We got it today! 2015 Forester MBS 24R

Well, we made it to Wildwood, FL this afternoon to pick up our motorhome. Everything is great so far, a few very minor cosmetic warranty issues. We loaded our belongings, and there's room to spare. We are in the campground at the dealership for the night which will give us the chance to really check things out before the drive home tomorrow.
I cooked a pretty good chicken dinner in the convection/micro oven, got the bed made (a little tricky putting the fitted mattress pad and sheets on, but it is comfy)! Now we are unwinding and watching the World Series. We are cozy and happy.
One thing that is of concern is the fact that there are no stabilizers on the unit. We didn't know that, and my husband isn't too thrilled. We had a 35' fifth wheel prior to this, and we got it pretty stable. This coach sways quite a bit when we are moving around, so we will need to address this at some point. Any thoughts??
So, I am happy to share our experiences thus far, and it would be great to hear about yours!
Safe travels to all....

Congrats on the new Forrester. May it bring you many happy memories. No stabilizers seems a bit odd to me too. Might want to look a little deeper into that.

Looking at the website, the stab jacks appear to be an option on the mbs series. Maybe you can get the dealer to install a set or do it yourself at home?

Ours comes out of the factory Nov 7th. We ordered the stabilizers as a option, think it was around $1600.00. Wish ours was here now. We will get it in time to put away for the winter.

Photos?

Can't wait to see some exterior and interior photos. Wonder how it is different from Solera with all the upgrades.
Congratulations again and have fun!

Crazy, I didn't take any pictures, but I will! The drive home went well, and we are already planning our next outing!

Good luck with your new Forester

Ordered ours last Sat at Alliance in Wildwood, should have it in about 6 weeks. Nice people to deal with and we're going to spend 2 days at their camp gounds to learn how to operate everything. Should be fun my partner lives across the road in the Villages.

That's exciting - congratulations!! We didn't order ours - actually sent Alliance a deposit (we worked with Dean) without ever seeing a Forester in person. They offered us a good deal on a trade for our fifth wheel, which we had listed on RV Trader, so we took a chance.

Everyone at Alliance was most accommodating, and we also spent one night with them...two would have been better. We wish we lived closer, we're a good 250 miles away. We will be going back in a couple of weeks to get the MaxxAir Roof Vent Covers (standard) put on, and to have a few minor items fixed. Did you order yours with very many additional options? If we had ordered ours, we probably would have gotten the stabilizer option.

Alliance had another Forester in their inventory when we bought ours, and we were told it was purchased by a couple who live in the Villages! Perhaps your friends know them?? Well, if you have any questions...ask away. After you take delivery of yours, we'll have to share experiences!

Have a great day...we hope the 6 weeks flys by!!
