What brake controller are you running?
I'm looking to outfit a dealer with some factory installed brake controllers.
Curious to see what is getting used and the real world experience.

I am thinking almost everyone will say a prodigy p2 or p3. I will be getting a p3 for my next controller.

P-3
If my memory serves me right, the only difference between the P-2 and the P-3 is the P-2 is for two axles and the P-3 is for three axles.
Correct me for I may be wrong!
Late Post correction: The shape has changed for the P-3

I don't know about the axles but the P3 has a LCD display as well.

Both the P2 and P3 are excellent proportional brake controllers with a wide offering of harnesses available depending on the vehicle.
There isn't much difference between the P2 and P3. In fact, they are very similar in actual function and are both capable of controlling electric and electric over hydraulic trailer braking systems and the same number of axles. The P3 offers a better display (words vs codes) and more diagnostics than the P2.
I use the P3 with the 3040 wiring harness for my Toyota Sequoia.

I am pretty sure I read that both can be used with trailers with up to 4 axles.

Here is a link to the difference between p2 and p3. It looks like if you don't need to be switching between electric brakes and electric over Hydralic the p2 would be the way to go

Since we are on controllers, I used a p2 on my first tow but now I bought an F150 with a factory installed controller. Does anyone know what brand that is?
