Haven't seen anything from Solera owners this week end where you all at?? I stayed home recouping from the first couple of days driving school bus. Hoping to still get out again before the Winter.

Got back from Myrtle Beach State Park last Friday...Spent a week there in sunshine and rain.
Live about 350 miles or so from MB and mostly drive on interstates. It rained the whole time going and the Solera handled just fine in the rain.

Spent the last 8 days below Red Rock Lake, in southern Iowa. With a forecast of 100 today, and heat index of 105 . . . and tomorrow to be worse . . . we headed home. Hope to be back out next week.

Well, we are spoiled! Took the car to Nola this weekend instead of the Enterprise (Solera). Had to use rest area rest rooms :-(. Couldn't get a cold water out of the frig - it was not normal!

Haven't been out in two weeks.
But getting ready for the big trip out to SD next month. We'll be heading through Iowa at some point. Meet us and the coffee is on us!

Camped at Byers lake last weekend, the pups had a blast swimming but had to keep an eye out for black bears ....they are everywhere.

My awning stopped working so it looks like a trip to Fairbanks for warranty work. 27 degrees last night, 65 during the day.....trying to decide when to drain and winterize the coach.

Maybe one more trip to Tatlanika campground on the Nenana river before freeze-up. It's been a glorious summer in the Alaska range.

Finished my new carport (actually a Solera port) this weekend....no snow load on this rig!!

Can't wait to head south next winter!!

Taylorgos.....
If you make it as far north as Denali next summer look us up. We have Solera overnight parking available and Misty can hang with Tuks and Lulu while your touring the park.

I just brought our new 24R up the Alcan in June......fantastic drive....leave lots of time to camp along the way.

Denali - already on our itinerary. We can't wait to start - probably in late June/early July. We'll stay in touch!

I'm not gonna let Mistie read your post... she gets terribly upset when someone misspells her name!

Sorry about that Mistie.....

Make sure to pick up a copy of the milepost before you leave it is a very informative mile by mile dialog regarding all roads in Canada and Alaska.

Driving up the Alcan/Cassiar Hwy northbound and taking the AK ferry down the inside passage southbound is a fantastic way to see it all.....

This was the view at sunset from our campsite at North Point Recreation Area on the Missouri River in South Dakota. It is a quiet, cool fall weekend!
