Miata, thanks for the upgrade info. Where and cost of Bilstein 24-17702 did you purchase? Can not find them on-line. Been hesitant to buy, been getting different products suggestions when searching for my 2015 24R. They suggest Bilstein 24-167161 4600 Series Shock. Good to know that "one of us" has installed and experienced the right shocks and sway bar. Thanks for sharing.

Away from receipt file at the moment. I believe the cost was around $200 for Bilsteins and the Konis were about $40 more. Mine is a Solera 24S. Google the Bilstein website; they maintain a tech support number who can give you the exact model.

I also have a 99 Dodge 2500 Turbodiesel. Same story on those shocks ... they were made in Brazil ... always been happy with Bilstein products. I'm certain once you remove the original shocks, you'll be happy too.

I believe the correct part number is 24-177702. This appears to be the 4600 series shock that Bilstein recommends. Bilstein also recommends a 19-169163 rear shock as an "OEM Replacement." Or, that's how I read it. You can see their motorhome application guide here:
http://cart.bilsteinus.com/pdfs/motorhome.pdf
I've seen the 24-177702 shocks online for somewhere between $75 and $100 per shock.

I replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein 24-177702 . Much improved handling. I already have helwig and sumos front and rear. Rocking when parked virtually gone. Road handling feels more like a large suv. I highly recommend this upgrade.
